What is support? What do elected representatives do? Many people from our area ask that, as Superior is far from the daily activities of Madison.
In November of 2004, the Department of Agriculture made the decision to either privatize the Superior grain inspection program or allow the federal government to take it over.
On a cold February morning at the Superior Library, the grain employees joined forces with the city leaders, state Sen. Bob Jauch and state Rep. Frank Boyle. This was where we heard of the uphill battle that was to come in the legislature.
As neighbors, we know the creditability of the Superior Grain Operation. We thank Sen. Jauch for bringing it to the forefront of the entire state through the legislative process. It was with his tenacity and building coalitions with others that brought about the joint finance decisions.

As employees of Superior Grain, we are proud to handle imports/exports for 20 counties. We thank Sen. Jauch for assisting us, so that we can continue in our duties. Now, it is our time to support his bid for re-election.
