Copies of the plan are available for review at the Superior Public Library and County Clerk's office in the Douglas County Courthouse in Superior; Douglas County forestry office and Joan Salmen Memorial Library in Solon Springs; and the DNR ranger station in Gordon. Electronic versions of the plan are available on CD by calling the forestry office at (715) 378-2219 or on the county Web site at www.douglascountywi.org .
Two informational open houses are planned for 4:30-7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Solon Springs Community Center and 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Superior Public Library.
The DNR has completed a draft environmental assessment of the forest management plan, which is available by calling Don Luebbe at (715) 376-2299 or e-mailing luebbd@dnr.state.wi.us .
