A La Crosse man was arrested two separate times for drunken driving Saturday, La Crosse police said. Ben Hanson, 27, was also cited for two hit and runs reported earlier in the day after hitting unoccupied cars. Officers waited for Hanson by his apartment near 800 Main Street and stopped him the first time at about 3:30 p.m. He was arrested after failing a field sobriety test; his blood-alcohol level was tested at 0.31 percent. Officers later noticed Hanson driving after he had left the jail. Police arrested him for a second time at about 8:30 p.m. His blood-alcohol level tested at 0.31 percent.
