KUWS 91.3 FM plans to carry this year's State of the City address live for those who can't get to the Rothwell Student Center at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Mayor Dave Ross plans to present the annual address at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
This year, Ross plans to break from the tradition of honoring city leaders to include the 200-plus men and women who answer the phones when people call City Hall, pick up the trash, plow the streets and fill the needs of the community.
Ross also recognizes those businesses that have been leaders in their fields and chose Superior as a place to grow as well as recognize another citizen for their service to the community.
This year's honoree helped end a burglary spree in East End last summer at age 11 with accurate descriptions of the suspect and his vehicle, leading to an arrest.
