The Friends of the Library will be selling gently used books appropriate for gifts on 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Wednesday from Nov. 20 through Dec. 18. Free gift wrapping is available.
This year there will be a preview sale exclusively for members of the Friends of the Superior Public Library 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Peak area. You may join the group at the sale. For a small membership fee, you can have first pick of the new books to give as holiday gifts. See you there.
The Friends of the Library meets at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the classroom. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
For the Thanksgiving holiday, the library closes at 6 p.m. Nov. 27 through Dec. 1. The library reopens Dec. 2. We wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Superior's Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in Center City Park outside the library. Stop in for treats and browse the library and book sale while you warm up.
