84, Gordon, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at the Lodge on Summit Oaks in Burnsville, Minn., surrounded by her family.
Kathleen was born Nov. 28, 1922, in Spokane, Wash., to the late John and Louanna (Simpson) Cahill. Kathleen married Walter Floyd Mullvain May 24, 1944, in Superior; he preceded her in death Nov. 17, 2003.
Kathleen was a switchboard operator for a telephone company for many years.
Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her six children, Kathy (Chuck) Kennedy, Richfield, Minn., Mary Jacobson, Apple Valley, Minn., Dick (Kathy) Mullvain, Houston, Minn., Tom (Mary Anne) Mullvain, Amery, Steve (Linda) Mullvain, Atlanta, Ga., and Bob (Mary) Mullvain, Eagan, Minn.; 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian burial was at 11 a.m. today at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Gordon. The Rev. Fr. James Kinney officiated. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial was in the Gordon Memorial Cemetery in Gordon.
