Judith Brannan, 66, of South Range, Wis., a caseworker, died Sunday, May 13, 2007, at a Duluth medical center.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Superior, with the Rev. Fr. Ron Olson officiating.

She was born Oct. 3, 1940, to George and Mary Gertrude (Stansky) LaValley in Superior. She married Lloyd Harold Brannan Sr., on Oct. 17, 1959, in Milwaukee. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Superior.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Brannan Sr. of South Range; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd Brannan Jr. and Linda of Smith Station, Ala., and Joe and Beth Brannan of Superior; two daughters, Therese Brannan of Superior, and Karen Wade of Stephenville, Texas; three brothers, George LaValley, Bernie LaValley and Bill LaValley; six sisters, Margaret Dougherty, Germaine Reconnu, Rose Elliott, Shirley Thompson, Katherine Treba and Pat Chaco; 10 grandchildren, Ken Ormsby, Jennifer Brannan, Tammy Johnson (Jesse), Kevin Ormsby, Tiffany Wade, Crystal Brannan, Christopher Brannan, Lisa Brannan, Justin Wade, and Joey Brannan; and six great-grandchildren, Arieanna Brannan, Jonathan Brannan, Cordell Brannan, Melodee Dolsen, Josh Dolsen and Kayden Brannan.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald LaValley and Larry LaValley; and one sister, Marcella Typpo.
