The Democratic senators are not coming back to Wisconsin this weekend. State Senator Bob Jauch of Poplar says to the contrary.
"I'm heading to central Illinois to find a location that's somewhat halfway between Mississippi and Wississippi because Wisconsin's looking way too much like Mississippi. I'm hoping there's an equator of calm in which I can regain those Wisconsin values and traditions that are so much at risk."
Jauch says the case in point is Representative Nick Milroy getting tackled by capitol security.
"I never thought I would see a state legislator tossed to the ground trying to enter the people's place, the state capitol."
Jauch says Governor Walker's threat to lay off 1500 state workers to overcome the budget shortfall won't bring the 14 Democratic senators back to Wisconsin.

"If the governor truly cares about those 1500 workers and the thousands more who are getting lay-off notices across the state, the best thing for him to do is to actually sit down with them and work with them as a leader trying to bring people together instead of an authoritarian figure who is dividing us."
Jauch says the 14 senators are spread out in different locations and keep in touch by e-mail and phone.
