Jane Wahlstrom Mahan died Sunday, May 27, 2007, in her home in Naples, Fla.
Jane was born July 1, 1931, in Superior. She was the loving wife of Harris G. "Sandy" Mahan. Her children are Harris Blair Mahan, wife Anna Mahan and Cyrilla Ann Wagner, husband Frank Wagner. Her grandchildren are Alison and Tim Mahan and Annie and Katie Wagner. She is survived also by nieces and nephews.
Jane graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 1953 with a major in music. She taught choir in Reedsburg, Wis.
She and Sandy moved to Naples permanently in 1983. They visited their Wisconsin cabin regularly during the summer.
Jane was a 50-year member of PEO, first in Superior, Chapter BU, and then in Naples, Chapter FW. She was a past president of both chapters. She was an accomplished pianist and a member of several musical groups.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church, 553 Galleon Drive, Naples. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Fuller Funeral Home on Pine Ridge Road.
