JAMESTOWN — A 69-year-old Wyoming man has died and his 26-year-old passenger was injured after their pickup rolled over on Interstate 94 near Jamestown Saturday afternoon.
The driver, a resident of Uptown, WY, had just exited from Exit 258 in Jamestown and was heading east on I-94 when he lost control of his pickup truck. The vehicle came to rest upright in the ditch north of the westbound lane, according to North Dakota Highway Patrol reports.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, also from Uptown, was transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
Both men were wearing their seatbelts. The Highway Patrol reported that travel conditions at the time included blowing snow and icy road conditions.
