FRANKLIN, Wis. (AP) -- Hundreds of pugs are expected to gather for an annual event in a Milwaukee suburb.
The Milwaukee Pug Fest features pugs in talent contests, costume contests and races.
Organizers claim its the largest pug event in the United States with attendees coming from all over the nation and Canada.
The event benefits pug rescue groups across the U.S. and helps pay for medical and dental bills for rescued pugs.
Visitors are allowed to bring their own pugs, Boston terriers and French bulldogs. It's on Sunday at the Milwaukee County Indoor Sports Complex in Franklin.
