Ray of Hope scholarships are only awarded to individuals -- not organizations. Scholarships are available to anyone living within a 60 mile radius of the 58840 zip code or those participating in an activity within that same radius.

Ray of Hope scholarships are only awarded to individuals -- not organizations. Scholarships are available to anyone living within a 60 mile radius of the 58840 zip code or those participating in an activity within that same radius.

Ray of Hope has six scholarship categories:

  • Community group or club -- includes participation in any extracurricular activity.
  • Sport activity -- includes any and all sport registration fees, equipment and other sporting needs.
  • Camp participation -- includes all type of camps including community groups, religion, sports and musical enhancement.
  • Arts and humanities -- includes any language, musical, science or cultural training.
  • Counseling-- includes any type of self-betterment
  • Continuing Education/GED -- includes classes and GED programs

People may apply for scholarships from any of these categories. Applications are available online at www.rayofhopeinc.com . For a paper application, call Lynne Lowney at 390-4005.

Ray of Hope is also accepting donations. Anyone can help the foundation by donating money or time working on grant applications. Donations may be sent to, Ray of Hope, P.O. Box 1607 Superior, WI 54880.
