The historic Manitou Fish Camp and dock in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is closed to the public through July 28.
The closure is necessary while the Governor's Cabin and other fish camp structures undergo repairs.
Rotted log sections of the Governor's Cabin will be removed and replaced, restored wood sealed and caulked, and drain tile installed to help protect the cabin into the future. Exterior repairs to other fish camp structures, such as the bunkhouse, net shed, twine shed and ice fishing shed will also be completed.
