Helen Klimas, 93, of Wascott passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008, in an automobile accident in Gordon.
Helen was born April 4, 1915, in Raymond, Wash. to the late Jacob and Elizabeth Vaitkus.
She was a seamstress and active in her local parish in Chicago.
Helen married Charles Klimas May 29, 1937.
Helen and Charles moved to Wascott from Chicago 25 years ago.

Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her two sons, William Klimas of Longmont, Colo., and James Klimas of Wascott; two grandchildren Emily and Jake Klimas of Boulder, Colo.; one brother Al Vaitkus of Fort Meyers, Fla.; one sister Adline Andralis of Frankfort, Ill.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Gordon. The Rev. James Kinney will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. A private family burial will take place in the Wascott Cemetery, Wascott.
