The Superior City Council has new leadership and a new councilor following the April 6 election.

Councilor Lindsey Graskey joined other even-numbered district representatives in taking the oath of office for a two-year term representing the 10th District.

Then the council selected its president and vice president for the next year.

Councilor Tylor Elm, who served as council vice president over the last year, received unanimous support to serve as president.

Two councilors were nominated to serve as vice president: Jenny Van Sickle and Nicholas Ledin. Van Sickle was selected to serve as vice president with a 7-3 vote, including garnering support from Ledin.

Councilors Jack Sweeney, Brent Fennessey and Craig Sutherland supported Ledin’s nomination.
