The Superior City Clerk’s Office is preparing for the next election even as work continues to wrap up the Nov. 3 presidential election.

Information packets containing instructions, nomination and campaign finance forms and a declaration of candidacy are now available. The nomination period begins Dec. 1 and paperwork must by filed by 5 p.m. Jan. 5 for individuals to appear on the ballot.

In April, terms for city councilors serving in even-numbered districts expire. Councilors Jenny Van Sickle, Jack Sweeney, Tylor Elm, Craig Sutherland and Esther Dalbec currently serve in those districts.
