Planning begins for Northland lobbying effort
Planning for 34th Superior Days on Feb. 12-13 in Madison is underway.
Superior Days began in 1986 to address the economic distress northwest Wisconsin was experiencing. Ever since, Superior Days has been a regional grassroots lobbying event, with residents setting the agenda.
The issues identification meeting this year will be at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College‐Superior on Nov. 14 from 5-8 p.m. No registration required. Facilitated discussions lead to a prioritized legislative and agency lobbying agenda. Anyone with ties to Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland or Iron counties is invited.
Superior Days will be based at the Madison Concourse Hotel. Registration for delegates is underway at SuperiorDays.com. The reception Feb. 12 features businesses, nonprofits and government agencies at the "Best of Wisconsin's Northwest."
