WITC construction prompts new entry point for voters
Voters in Superior's 5th and 7th districts may have to use a different entrance when they cast go to cast their vote next week at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.
City Clerk Terri Kalan said she was notified this week that construction could force voters to enter the building through a different entrance.
While voters cast their ballots and enter the building at WITC Conference Center, that entrance may not be available Tuesday because of ongoing construction.
Kalan is encouraging voters to use the entrance near the staff parking lot immediately south of the Conference Center lot. She said she chose that entrance because there is ample parking. Signs inside the building will guide voters to the polling location.
