The Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department announced it will move the summer playground program in South Superior to the Bryant Elementary School playground starting Monday, Aug. 5.

The move is happening in anticipation of the community build-out of the Webster Dream Park all-inclusive playground.

Kenna Herman of South Superior was just 7 years old when she imaged a playground where all children, regardless of limitations, could play together. When she shared that idea with her mother, Kalee Hermanson, work got underway to plan and raise money for an all-inclusive, all-abilities park.

The playground build-out will make that vision a reality.

The community build is planned for Aug. 15 and 16.
