John Goldfine was appointed to the Western Bank Board of Directors at the July board meeting. Goldfine is president of ZMC Hotels, which owns and operates more than 30 hotels in 15 states.
The firm also operate the Chattanooga Riverboat Co. in Tennessee and the Duluth-Superior Excursions Vista Fleet.
He received the 2004 Labovitz Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Minnesota Center for Economic Development for having a significant impact on the community and region for more than 25 years.
