Friends of Library seek used books for fundraiser

The Friends of the Superior Public Library need donations of gently used books for its spring book sale.

The group is asking for paperbacks and hardcover fiction and nonfiction for adults and children. Used CDs, DVDs videos and current issues of popular magazines are also welcome. Encyclopedias with copyrights earlier than 1990 cannot be accepted.

All materials must be in good condition.

Books can be dropped off at the library during regular hours: 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to p.m. Friday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Anyone with a large number of books to donate may arrange for pick-up by calling 392-1574.

ADVERTISEMENT

The annual book sale runs April 25-26. All proceeds are used to purchase new materials not accounted for in the regular library budget.
