The science of cryogenics is not a well-known technology among the population.
Science Pizza Labs, a program in Solon Springs focuses on that subject Tuesday. Visiting scientist is Joanne Zosel of Solon Springs High School. Her program is "Cryogenics: Physics of Extreme Cold."
The sessions are free and open to all area adult learners. Pizza Labs include a variety of hands-on science experiences and discussions, all guided by visiting scientists -- plus free pizza.
The programs are held 6-8 p.m. in the North Classroom of Solon Springs Community Center, Business Highway 53.
Adult learners as well as mature high school students are invited. Pizza Labs focus on the process of science, involving learners in using laboratory equipment and calculations from a variety of mathematics and science disciplines.

Pizza is served at 6 p.m., with program and lab from 6:20 to 8 p.m. Pizza Labs are free. Major funding is from private sources. For more information, call Thomas King at 378-2776.
