MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Hennepin County prosecutors say four people tried to extort money from a Bloomington man by threatening to reveal his visits to a prostitute.

A funeral service for the 57-year-old man was held Saturday, five days after authorities say he committed suicide in a wildlife refuge.

A criminal complaint says Daniel Kreye left a note behind at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge which said he was being extorted for more than $500,000.

Forty-five-year-old Rickey Pouncil and 31-year-old Christina Artac of St. Louis Park were arrested Friday. Two others named in the complaint are still at large.

An obituary in the Star Tribune says Kreye is survived by his wife of 31 years, two children and two grandchildren.
