No injuries were reported in a structure fire in Billings Park that spread to the neighboring home, according to the Superior Fire Department.
The fire department, Superior Police Department and Gold Cross Ambulance responded to the fire at 1706 Lackawanna Ave., around 7 p.m. Wednesday. They found a single-family home with an enclosed porch to the rear of the building on fire. Flames had spread to the siding on the neighboring house and a nearby shed.
Crews searched the building and extinguished the flames. The porch was destroyed and there was damage to the neighboring home.
Damages are estimated at $5,000.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
