An early morning fire caused an estimated $5,000 damage to the Capri Bar at 1224 Tower Ave. Sunday. No injuries were reported, according to Battalion Chief Howard Huber with the Superior Fire Department.

The department responded to the structure fire at 3:44 a.m. Sunday. Visible smoke and flames were reported on the bar's second floor, Huber stated. Arriving units attacked and quickly extinguished the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
