Farmers' market vouchers are still available at the Aging Resource Center for Douglas County.
The agency has received additional vouchers this year.
To be eligible for the voucher program, a person must e a resident of Douglas County and at least 60 years old. Seniors must fall under the income guideline of $19,240 for a one person household or $25,900 for a two person household. Eligible seniors can receive $25 in vouchers to use for fruit, vegetables and herbs at the farmers' market. Vouchers are limited to $25 per family. The Barker's Island Farmers' Market runs from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays through Oct. 25. The Winter Street Depot Farmers' Market runs 2-6 p.m. Wednesdays through Oct. 21.
