Nicole Chiaverini and Patrick Scharte have selected Oct. 18 to unite in marriage. The couple plans to marry at St. James Catholic Church in Duluth.
Parents of the future bride are Lora Lee and Jerry Chiaverini of Duluth. Parents of the future groom are Lynn and Michael Scharte of Superior.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Denfeld High School. In 2005, she earned a bachelor's degree in social studies and German education from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She is a German teacher for ISD No. 709 and dance team coach for Denfeld High School.
The future groom graduated Forest Lake High School in 1999. He is a driver for UPS in Duluth.
