Ellen E. "Ella" Hill, 93, longtime resident of Allouez, later St. Mary's Hall and then Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, in Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Superior to Carl and Emelia Beck. She attended the former East High School.

Ella was employed as a cook for the former St. Joseph's Children's Home, and following her retirement, she went to work as a clerk for the Daisy Bakery in Allouez.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her Bible Study group meetings and all the Birthday Club luncheons. She always enjoyed visiting with her neighbor ladies, bowling, crocheting, reading, going to church, traveling, cooking, baking and getting out with family and friends.

Ella loved to spend time at their vacation home on White Fish Lake in Gordon. She was our "Miss Congeniality." She was devoted to her family, who will deeply miss her. Now she will dance with our father again. "The Anniversary Song" was their special song.
