Ella Oliver, 92, of Superior, passed into the Spirit World peacefully on Dec. 14, 2006, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
Ella was born on Nov. 11, 1914, to Emil and Christina Kastberg. Ella had worked in various positions helping different people until her retirement. Ella and her husband Joe had traveled to 13 continents of the world in their 60 years of marriage.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Harold, Harlen, Howard, and Harvey; sisters Della and Gladys; and her precious baby girl.
Ella is survived by her husband Joe; son Joey (Darlene); grandchildren Joe (Sherri) Oliver III, Jody (Jerry) Hansen, and Juanita Oliver; great-grandchildren Krista, Andy, Katie, Cody, Paige, Ellen and Sam; a sister-in-law Dolores Kastberg; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. with a 3 p.m. rosary recitation in the Thompson-Hegstrom Funeral Home, and will continue on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial in Cathedral of Christ the King. The Rev. Daniel Dahlberg will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
