The University of Wisconsin-Superior is holding a community gathering from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday to conclude celebrations of the school’s 125th anniversary.

The event on the plaza outside the Yellowjacket Union, 1605 Catlin Ave., will feature a free barbecue, a sidewalk chalk art festival featuring work from alumni, a campus scavenger hunt and games for children and families. Tours of the UW-Superior campus also will be offered.

The evening will culminate with a free outdoor concert from Big Top Chautauqua at 7 p.m. on the lawn along Catlin Avenue. The concert will be moved to Weissman Arena, 2701 Catlin Ave., in the event of inclement weather.
