Having Average Joe submit video questions for the CNN/YouTube debate was an interesting gimmick, but it fell short of convincing Americans they should be interested in a two-year-long presidential campaign.
With all the concern about campaign financing and corporate-controlled politicians, here's a suggestion: Sharply limit how long the campaign will last. Even politicians are limited in how fast they can spend money and meet with health industry lobbyists.
Until then, Soprano's reruns are a good alternative to endless repeats of the same political blather.
