For the second straight game the Superior High School boys hockey team gave one of the best teams from the state of Minnesota all it could handle.

Two nights after knocking off Duluth Marshall 2-1, the Spartans took a 2-1 lead into the third period Monday night against Duluth East only to have the Greyhounds rally for a 3-2 victory before a Wessman Arena crowd of around 1,000.
