A California woman will spend four years in prison for her role in trafficking drugs in Superior.

Karrie Lena Robinson, 45, pleaded guilty March 31 in Douglas County Circuit Court to felony party to possession with intent to deliver meth and party to possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

In addition to four-year prison sentence, she was sentenced to four years of extended supervision for the meth charge, and a concurrent sentence of two years in prison and two years of extended supervision for the marijuana charge. A party to possession with intent to deliver heroin charge was dismissed.

According to the criminal complaint:

Authorities executed a search warrant Aug. 2 on the home and vehicle belonging to Michelle Dawn Sobczyk of Superior.

Robinson was in the car with Sobczyk when it was stopped and searched. Investigators seized about 458 grams of meth, 785.72 grams of marijuana, 29.76 grams of marijuana wax and 52 grams of black tar heroin from a backpack they found in the car. The backpack also included mail and a bank statement for Alejandre Mathew Fragoso of California. The total street value of the drugs found was approximately $62,000, according to investigators.

Sobczyk, 48, and Fragoso, 47, of California were also arrested in conjunction with the search. They both face felony charges of party to possession with intent to deliver meth, party to possession with intent to deliver marijuana and party to possession with intent to deliver heroin. Fragoso's next court appearance is April 21. He remains in custody at the Douglas County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.

Sobczyk was released with an $8,000 cash bond after waiving her preliminary hearing Aug. 10. Her next court appearance is set for May 1.
