The annual Douglas County Craft Sale sponsored by the Douglas County Home and Community Education runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Head of the Lakes fairgrounds, 4700 Tower Ave., Superior.

Several area crafters offer a variety of items for sale. There's also a bake sale, tea table, silent auction and lunch will be served.

Admission is $1 and includes a chance to win a door prize drawing.

Proceeds from the sale are used to provide scholarships for UWS and WITC students, and other educational programs and community services.

The special project this year will be our local food shelves. Please bring a nonperishable item or a donation. This will give you another chance at the door prize drawings. The building is handicapped accessible.
