A Douglas County employee was killed in a work-related accident involving maintenance on Sunday, July 11, in the Government Center, county officials said Monday, July 12.
The incident is under investigation by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the state Department of Safety and Professional Services Division of Occupational Safety, Mark Liebaert, Douglas County Board president said.
