Crews reopened State Highway 35 between County Highway B east and Highway T in Douglas County Friday afternoon.
Work included repairs to the south bridge approach over the Black River in Pattison State Park.
The area was previously closed due to flooding and washouts from the heavy rainfall from June 15 to June 17. WisDOT committed additional technical resources in the area to expedite necessary evaluations and crews began restoration on June 25.
Southbound U.S. Highway 53 between Huron Road and County A near Solon Springs in Douglas County also reopened Friday, ahead of schedule. The lanes were closed due to culvert washouts from the heavy rainfall during the weekend of June 15.
