Donna Jean Fleming, 79, of Herbster, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2008, at Meriter Hospital in Madison.
She was born in DeSoto on April 12, 1929, a daughter of the late Fantus and Irene (Watson) Tewalt, and a graduate of Viroqua High School. She was united in marriage to Ruel Fleming on Feb. 4, 1948.
Donna is survived by her husband, Ruel; daughter, Kathy (Rod) Dahlen; son, Tim Fleming; four grandchildren, Kyle and Abby Dahlen and Rachel (Justin) Parrott and Ryan Fleming; and by a daughter-in-law, Nancy Jean Fleming.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son David Fleming; and by a brother, Jerry Tewalt.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Bratley Funeral Home in Washburn with the Rev. Tom Wagner officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Donna's name, will be made to the Cancer Society. Following the service, a noon lunch will be served by the Community Club, at the Herbster gym.
Arrangements are by the Bratley Funeral Home of Washburn.
