Donald F. Fisher, 75, of Waconia, formerly of rural Bovey, died on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, in Waconia.
Born on Nov. 12, 1932, in Superior, he was the son of Walter and Anna Fisher. He worked as a research tech in the lab at U.S. Steel, and retired after 30 years of service. He was a member of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church where he served as Eucharistic minister, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Itasca Gun Club. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict, where he was a jet mechanic.
He married the love of his life, Mary Kay Lundgren, on Oct. 22, 1955.
He is survived by his children, Steven (Judy) Fisher of Munson, Fla., Jeff (Cheryl) Fisher of Esko, Ann (Michael) Szakmeister of Santa Clarita, Calif. and Paul (MaryJo) Fisher of Waconia; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister, Dorothy (Robert) Rindo of Wisconsin Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Kay; brother Wally; and sister Elaine.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial on Thursday in the Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Coleraine. Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine.
