A fundraising benefit for an accident victim runs from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Town of Superior Hall, 4917 S. State Highway 35.

Proceeds from a spaghetti dinner and silent auction will go to help cover medical and rehabilitation expenses not covered by insurance of Owen Gran, 19, who was struck in a hit-and-run accident while walking Oct. 7 on a local county highway.

Gran was raised near Pattison Park and had been working for Benson Electric for a little over a year. He had just started electrician's schooling.

A fund has been set up at National Bank of Commerce under Owen Gran Benefit Fund. For questions or tickets, call Amy at (218) 393-4974.

Dinner tickets are priced at $6 for adults and $3 for children 10 years of age or younger. The sponsors also have bumper stickers for sale at $3 each.
