Douglas County Sheriff's and Superior Police departments were called to an Oliver residence for a domestic incident Wednesday afternoon.
A father and his stepson were involved in the incident, which was reported over the police scanner as a potential standoff situation. Both males sustained injuries -- a few cuts and bruises, according to Detective Sgt. Ed Anderson of the sheriff's department. They were both arrested on domestic abuse charges, he said.
Reports originally mentioned a gun was involved, something authorities are investigating.
"There may have been one, but I don't know as it had anything to do with this incident," Anderson said.
