BUCHANAN, Wis. (AP) -- Outagamie County sheriff's officials are investigating the death of a woman found in the Fox River.

The sheriff's department received a call at about 2 p.m. Friday about a body in the water at Town of Buchanan picnic grounds.

Capt. Mike Jobe said investigators are treating the death as suspicious.

The Post-Crescent of Appleton reports authorities have not released the woman's identity or age.

Sheriff's officials are requesting the public's assistance in find two people who were in the park about the time the woman was found.

In a news release, Jobe says either a young couple or two young females were in the park and borrowed a ladder from a nearby farm.

An autopsy was completed Saturday, but the results were not immediately disclosed.
