Daniel Robert Parsons, 76, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007.
Daniel lived at Golden Living Health and Rehabilitation Center in Superior.
He was born and raised in the Superior area. He worked many years on the Burlington Northern Railroad as a switchman, and later in life was a salesman for Western Saw in California. Daniel was a divorced single father of three and took great pride in the raising of his children.
One of his greatest pleasures was to spend time with family, even if it was just camping.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Aileen Antilla and Einard Parsons; stepfather, Edward Philman; and sister, Margaret Erlandson.

Daniel will be sadly missed by many people including three children, Dalene Jo (Gary) Kittelson, Brian Edward Parsons, and Curtis Leroy (Cindy) Parson; seven grandchildren, Daniel (Alyssa) Kittelson, Dalene Koestler, Jeffery Yadon, DeEvelyn (Gerald) Osgan, William Parsons, David Kittelson, Jessica Parsons; seven great-grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Dylan, Kyle, Makayla, Austin and Connor, all of Superior.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth. Inurnment will be at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery.
There will be a luncheon and a time of remembrance at 2:30 p.m. at the home of Daniel and Alyssa Kittelson, 1701 Hammond Ave., Superior. All friends and family are welcome to join us, we all know dad would want us to be together and remember the good times.
