Josh Kosloske of Oakfield High School intends to play for the St. Scholastica men's basketball team this year; it was announced by Saints head coach David Staniger.

Kosloske is a 6-foot-8 center from Oakfield, Wis. He was a first-team all-state selection in his senior season as he averaged 18.8 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks per game.

"We are very excited to have Josh join our basketball family," Staniger said. "Josh moves well and gives us a physical presence in the post. His ability to rebound and block shots will help trigger our fast break. To add a quality young man like Josh this late in the year is a big boost to our program."

Kosloske scored more than 1,000 career points at Oakfield and is the school's all-time leading rebounder. He was also a quality soccer player and was a first-team all-state selection as a goalkeeper during his senior year.

"I wanted to come to St. Scholastica because of the great education I would receive," Kosloske said. "I also liked coach Staniger's philosophy and how he treated his players. I can't wait to get on the court."
