At least one person was injured in a shooting in Superior's North End bar district Sunday morning.

Superior police officers on patrol responded to the sound of gunshots outside of Lady Vi's and Centerfolds Cabaret, 628 and 702 Tower Ave., at about 2:11 a.m. Police found large crowds in front of both businesses and determined that the shots were fired from one or more guns, police said in a news release.

The injured person was treated at a local hospital. Police said the injury was not life threatening, and did not report whether anyone was in custody Sunday afternoon.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and anyone with information about it is asked to contact Detective Chris Woolery at 715-395-7623 or via the Superior Police Department tip-line by texting 847411 (TIP411).
