Superior man charged with child sex assault
A Superior man accused of having sexual contact with two minors waived an initial appearance Wednesday in Douglas County Circuit Court.
Branden Anthony Hunter, 23, faces felony charges of sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age, child enticement, exposing genitals and two counts of sexual intercourse with a child.
According to the criminal complaint: Hunter had sexual contact with a 16-year-old at least twice between May and December. A 15-year-old also reported that Hunter had sexual contact with her in October. A number of the incidents took place at a park in Superior's East End. Both reported victims told Superior Police Detective Mike Jaszczak that they drank alcohol with Hunter prior to the sexual contact.
He remains in custody at the Douglas County Jail. Cash bail of $10,000 was set and Hunter was ordered to have no contact with the reported victims.
