Council extends marina lease

Superior's City Council approved extending the marina lease with Sailboats Inc. at Tuesday's Common Council meeting.
The extension allows the long-time operator of the city-owned marina on Barker's Island in place through April 2036.
The extension also paves the way for the company to invest $200,000 in improvements in the marina.
Sailboats Inc. has operated the marina since it opened in 1980.
