A story in Wednesday's Telegram inaccurately portrayed Senate Republicans actions concerning a vote on the mining bill. There was no vote taken on the bill, which would have been defeated after all 16 senate Democrats, and Sen. Dale Schultz, R-Richland Center, voted against an amendment to the bill. The legislation was sent back to committee.

A story in Wednesday's Telegram inaccurately stated the length of a march endured by Cpl. Cris Moen of "Crazy Troop" 1-94 Cavalry to earn an Expert Infantry Badge. As stated in the photo caption, it was a 12-mile march.

The Telegram apologizes for the errors.
