Dan Conway has stepped down as cross country coach at Superior High School. Taking over as head coach will be Bill Gustafson, an assistant coach under Conway with the Spartans last season.
"I have certainly enjoyed working with some great young men and women over the past six years and want to thank the Superior School District for giving me that opportunity," Conway said.
After retiring from his full-time teaching position (physical education) in Chetek in 1997, Conway continued to coach cross county until moving back to Superior in 1999.
