Coalition celebrates 30th anniversary

The Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups hosts its 30th anniversary celebration and annual convention July 19-20 at the Holiday Inn and Convention Center in Stevens Point.

The Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups hosts its 30th anniversary celebration and annual convention July 19-20 at the Holiday Inn and Convention Center in Stevens Point.

The two-day event features invited guest speakers, including Gov. Jim Doyle, Larry Polivka, Josefina Carbonell and Tommy Thompson, all speaking on issues of interest and importance to seniors.

The historical event will also feature a senior achievement awards and banquet, workshops and exhibits, silent auction and raffle drawing, followed by a 30th anniversary celebration luncheon.

A statewide nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, the Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups is made up of individuals and member groups that represent more than 125,000 people in the state of Wisconsin.
