A Cloquet man accused of possessing child pornography made an initial appearance last week in Douglas County Circuit Court.
Arne Gene Jokinen Johnson faces felony possession of child pornography. He was released on a $10,000 signature bond and ordered to have no unsupervised contact with minors.
According to the criminal complaint:
A 13-year-old boy reported to the Superior Police Department that he had conversed online with Johnson, who was using the name “Sipher Daze.” Most of the conversations were sexual in nature. After getting the IP address for “Sipher Daze” Superior police were able to find the physical address in Superior where Johnson was staying. Police found more than 1,500 images of suspected child pornography and several pornographic videos that appeared to contain young males between ages 12 and 16 years on Johnson’s cell phone.
